HANOI DIRT BIKE, MOTORBIKE, SCOOTER & MOTORCYCLE RENTALS

Here are customers’ testimonials if you want to check out first about our Hanoi dirt bike, motorbike, scooter & motorcycle rentals, in Northern Vietnam.

To make things clear, please check our support policy. We will do our best to assist you in any case. However, there are a few things you need to check before you seek support from our team. This helps save our time.

Our Current Motorbike Fleet For Your Vietnam Motorcycle Rentals

For riders who are on a long trip to the Northern Vietnamese mountains, larger Honda road and dirt bikes (125-250cc, in good working conditions) are available. We are the first and original 100% Vietnamese company to use only Japanese Honda motorcycles. Some people care about the look of the bikes, they don’t even ride test or are very picky. We sadly don’t care how old the bikes look but how they serve you. Look at the photo below of some near-new dirt bikes and see the difference between bikes before and after washing. If you prefer appearance to performance then, unfortunately, we are not the guys to deal with! When you collect your rental bike(s), they are clean, not dirty.

Offroad Vietnam Motorbike Adventures - Hanoi Dirt bike, Motorbike, Scooter & Motorcycle Rentals: Dirt bikes Honda XR125 before and after cleaning on guided and unguided trips.

Currently, we have four different kinds of bikes out for rent. You can choose from automatic to fully manual clutch motorbikes. If we do not have the bike you are looking for please let us know and we’ll see if we can get one for you. We may not always have these bikes/gear available at certain periods. Please contact us as early as you can. All bookings should be confirmed and paid before picking up the bikes.

1. Enduro, dirt bikes (only daily rental basis available, for long-distance touring from Hanoi)

2. Road motorcycles (daily and monthly rental available, for long-distance touring out of Hanoi)

3. Motorbikes, semi-automatic moped scooters (for expats working in Hanoi on a monthly basis with long-term contracts, the daily rate applied for long-distance trips)

4. Fully automatic (AT) scooters (for expats working in Hanoi on a monthly basis only, not for long-distance trips or on a daily basis)

In case you just need a reliable scooter and are on a budget then check this budget rental offer. Please note that bike availability is very limited.

Riding gear. You can also hire safety motorbike riding gear from us at $5US/day. These include motorbiking jacket and pants (or protection knee and elbow pads), gloves, rain gear, a quality helmet, and a pair of saddlebags. Safety riding gear ensures you a safe and comfortable tour on a motorcycle.

Important: None of these bikes is really suitable for riding two up on one bike because of the HP, seat, and luggage added. Ideally, riding solo is the best option. If you have to ride two up, relax often and don’t ride long every day, especially after dark or on rainy days.

We offer support on the phone while you are on the trip and help to explain to the local mechanics, hotels, restaurants, and local people. It’s in fluent English and Vietnamese and won’t waste any second of your time. We are with you the whole way. This is very important for your motorcycle rentals in Vietnam.

About Our Two Wheels Rental Business

Offroad Vietnam’s office is based in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, and right in the Old (French) Quarter. This is our only office in the country. Unfortunately, we haven’t offered one-way motorbike hire yet.

Why Should You Rent Bikes From Us?

We are not just competing on prices but on top is assistance when you are riding. For assistance, no shop in Hanoi surpasses us as we are mechanics ourselves and we speak perfect English. In the long run, you save because if you need help we are available right away. Moreover, we are straight to the point, clear, and don’t waste your time. Below we explain in detail.

To know which motorbike/scooter is the best for you, please watch the below video.

Bike customization and tune up

We have been in this business long enough and work on the bikes ourselves so we know how to improve the safety and performance of our bikes. For example, better carburettors (150cc or less), lifetime clutch cables, anti-break gearshift levers, anti-break gearshift, strong handguards, and engine protection…any anything we find better for you. We care about your safety because we understand this from the bikers’ point of view.

Motorcycle Rentals – Bike quality

1. Semi-automatic or fully automatic scooters are in great condition. Honestly, they are far better than any company in Hanoi. Nothing is old or non-functional, they are either less than five years old or under 30,000km.

2. For touring manual clutch motorbikes, they were prepared in the best working conditions. We checked every bit to make sure you have safe bikes. Most bikes are near new or latest models.

Professional support

1. Before you start, the fuel will be filled up to full. This sounds like a small thing but it shows how much we care about you. In reality, many rental shops leave the fuel tank empty and imagine how annoying you feel when you have to look for a gas station shortly after you pick up your rental motorbike(s). Some shops also try to earn extra money with the fuel in the tank when you return. We don’t do that because we know this is not a good thing to start with.

2. Bike service is included anytime you need it at our shop in the Old Quarter of Hanoi.

3. We communicate in fluent English in Hanoi. In fact, you waste no time talking and understanding us. Therefore, you likely save phone costs.

4. You deal with us directly, no employee. In reality, we work on the bikes ourselves, therefore we know them as good as the back of our hands. This means a very intimate and person-to-person business. Best of all, we offer expert tips and advice so you have an enjoyable ride throughout Vietnam.

Ask about the bike model and year of manufacturing don’t just look at prices. In general, our rates are competitive and the quality is among the best.

Why Only Honda Motorcycle Rentals?

There are also a great deal of Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean and Vietnamese bikes with Chinese engines (namely: Lifan, Zongshen, Loncin, Qing Qui, Lisohaka, Sufat, Halim Kymco, Haelim, Daemu, Sino Hongda, Jialing, Dayang, Detech, Intimex, Fashion, Haesun, Daehan, Sufat, etc.) Some are so cheap (as little as $300 USD) but we don’t advise you to ride these bikes. In reality, Honda is still the most popular and reliable in Vietnam, and when people say “Honda” they really mean “motorbike” just like “Google” when you mean “search”. The main reason is not only they are the most popular, but also for quality-price value and the fact that spare parts are so easy to find.
