OFFICE MAPS LOCATION OF OFFROAD VIETNAM
From April 2026

After 20 years of operating in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, Offroad Vietnam will be relocating from this area. This decision is due to a possible (though not yet confirmed) restriction or ban on gasoline motorbikes starting in July 2026.
As of April 2026, our new office is located at 21/247 Lam Du, Bo De, Hanoi, and our Old Quarter office will be closing.
Our new location is just about ~3 km from the old one, on the east side of the Red River. The new space is larger, and since our team now lives nearby, we’re able to offer more flexible working hours.
For riders living in areas such as Eco Park, Vinhomes Riverside Long Bien, Vinhomes Global Gate Co Loa, and Ocean Park 1, 2, and 3, our new location will be especially convenient, as these areas are unlikely to be affected by the potential gasoline motorbike restrictions.
You can scan the QR code below to easily find our new office location.

Here are some of the advantages of our new location:
- Much better traffic conditions
- More spacious and comfortable environment
- Easier to find and access
- More flexible pick-up and drop-off times
- Conveniently located only about 3.5 km from Hanoi’s Old Quarter

Before April 2026
We are located in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, one of the busiest areas in the city. Space here is limited and property prices are extremely high, so instead of renting a large storefront on a main street, our office is tucked away in an easy-to-find alley.
Please save or download this Office Maps & Location page before your trip, and you’ll have no trouble finding us in Hanoi. See you soon!
Our Old Office: Why Offroad Vietnam® Office Off-Road?
Offroad Vietnam® reflects the authentic spirit of Hanoi through its “off the main road” location at 36 back door Nguyen Huu Huan Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, Vietnam.
In reality, much of daily life in Hanoi’s Old Quarter takes place within a maze of narrow alleyways. Many locals spend their entire lives running food stalls or small family businesses in spaces barely two metres wide. This is the true character of Hanoi – vibrant, busy, and full of local culture.
With Offroad Vietnam®, you experience not only the ride, but also a genuine taste of the real Vietnam.

Many customers ask why so many houses in Hanoi are narrow and compact. One common reason is inheritance traditions. In families with several sons and daughters, the house is often divided among the sons, meaning the more sons there are, the smaller each share becomes. This is one of the unique cultural characteristics of Vietnam, especially in older cities like Hanoi.
Our office may not be luxurious, but everything is well organized within our three-floor house. We prefer to invest back into the Vietnamese community and improve the quality of our services rather than spend heavily on an expensive storefront. Being located off the main road helps us keep costs reasonable while focusing on what matters most.
We have also created a YouTube video to help you find our office easily. If you have trouble locating us, please watch the video below.
How To Find Us By Google Maps Location?
Our office is quite easy to find. First, go to either No. 34A Nguyen Huu Huan Street (GS25 & Starbucks) or No. 36 (a food shop). Then enter the small alley located between these two addresses. Our office is the third back door on the left, approximately 20 metres from the main street, as shown on the map below.
Look for our orange-colored signboard (see photo below).
You can also access the alley from Hang Bac Street or Luong Ngoc Quyen Street, but those entrances are usually a bit more difficult to navigate.

What would the 9 day bike tour cost in Canadian? I calculated from what info I could find to be be $676. Would that be about right?
Hello Peter. Well, it depends on the group size and bike you choose. And you can easily convert to Canadian through banks or apps. But it’s not that cheap as in USD it’s already 981$US for 9 days for a group from 5 people and by 150cc.
Hi, do you have any XR 150’s for sale? What price range?
Hello Adam. Sadly, we have no Honda XR150L for sale at the moment. You may try some Facebook groups and find offers. Good luck!
Hi Anh,
Murray from Chiang Mai here will send you email later.
Many thanks.
Hello Muray,
You can buy a used Honda automatic scooter in Vietnam like Honda Vision, Honda Air Blade, Honda Lead from around 1,000 to 2,000$US. It’s not easy to buy a new bike and register it in your name. Good luck.
Hi guys,
I am starting to plan a trip to Vietnam for 2021.
I will be flying into Ho Chi Minh City on the 7/01/2021, departing Ho Chi Minh City on 13/02/2021.
I am looking at a three-country ride. Leave Ho Chi Minh City ride up through Cambodia and Laos back into Vietnam to Hanoi.
Then a few days at Ha Long Bay, and about 5/7 days at Hoi An, then back down to Ho Chi Minh City mainly along the coast. This can be done in reverse Hanoi to Ho Chi Min City.
Your assistance with bike hire insurance waivers and useful information would be greatly appreciated.
Hello Dave. We are based in Hanoi only and sadly are not able to offer one-way rental. In reality, there are some companies that offer one-way rental but sadly, we don’t work with anyone and therefore know nothing about how they do business. Luckily, you could easily find them through Google. Good luck!
Hi. We are 5? guys who would like to ride motorbikes from Hanoi down the East coast to Hoi An in about 5 days starting on 30/3/2020 with suggested overnight stops in Thanh Hoa, Vinh, Hue and Hoi An. We would like an all-inclusive tour with a guide and accommodation.
We would like to leave the bikes in Danang on the sixth day and fly to Ho Chi Minh City.
Is it possible to arrange a custom tour of this duration?
We would like reasonable accommodation of about 3-star hotel if available.
This would be open to change on recommendations from you.
Dear Ronald. Please check your email for a detailed reply. It’s simply too long to post here :) Let us know your thoughts please.
Hi. I am Dusty out of Kuala Lumpur,
Would you have an office/affiliate in Ho Chi Min City where I could rent a few bikes? Would like to ride in the South of Vietnam later this year with a few buddies. Thank you.
Sadly, we have no office anywhere outside Hanoi and therefore can’t help this time. However, just do some Google search and contact shops down there. Good luck.
Hello. I have 6 carved by the Phuoc Son in Quang Nam Province in the central Vietnamese Highlands. I would like to know if they are valuable. Thank you.
Hello Jayne. Everywhere in Vietnam is worth visiting. However, you may need a local guide to fully understand the local people because they don’t speak much English.
Hi!
Do you sell used 250cc or 300c motorcycles (e.g., Kawasaki Ninja or Honda CBR)?
Also, if I buy a bike in the US then ship to Vietnam, did I read correctly here that import taxes etc are 125% of value of US bikes?
Thanks!
Bruce.
Hello Bruce. Sorry, we don’t sell used bikes over 250cc and we are not a used bike dealer. Currently, we only have two of the 125cc road bikes for sale, nothing bigger.
You can only import your bike if you have a valid working permit or residence card in Vietnam. Taxes are from 0% to 120% depending on your paperwork.
Hey, I’m in Sapa.
Can you deliver a dirtbike tomorrow to me? Or to Lao Cai.
Here are only scooters crap.
Greets, Julien.
Hello Julien. Sorry, we are based in Hanoi only and can’t deliver a bike there due to an unpleasant experience with sending the bike and the complicated paperwork. In Vietnam, if you want something quality, you need to pay more than average and only get from some selected places, not everywhere. Good luck!
Dear Sir/Madame,
I’m planning to come to Ho Chi Minh 7th of May and ride to Hanoi. Is it possible to rent 4 motorbikes from Ho Chi Minh and return them in Hanoi after 10 days? We will pay for delivery to Ho Chi Minh.
Sorry no, we only rent bikes in Hanoi. Sadly, we have no office down in HCMC so nobody handles it.
Hello dear,
My name is Abraham, and my family sell biker and parts for bikes. Recently my brothers contacted me with the interest of your bikes models and I will be very happy if you can give more information about pricing and shipping to overseas.
Thanks.
Hello Abraham. Sorry we are not a bike dealer and we only sell some of our used bikes in Hanoi, Vietnam to upgrade to newer fleets. In addition, we don’t export bikes or parts. You can contact Honda Vietnam and check with them about exporting bikes. Good luck.
Bonjour,
Cordialement
Dear Philippe. Sadly we only speak and exchange emails in English. We don’t have a staff who speaks French. I understand but can’t write in your language.
Hi Anh, just sent a message about a touring bike. I see you have XR 150cc bikes. Could you tell me how much to buy one please. I live in Hoi An and haven’t seen any in the shops here or Danang
Cheers
Craig
Hello Craig. We have XR125, not XR150. A new XR150 here in Hanoi costs about 3,300$US including registration.
Hello sirs
I am inquiring on the availability and cost of a 3 day custom off road guided tour from 26 to 1 March for two people. We are accomplished off road riders and would like to ride mostly trails with some difficulty and see some scenery.
Hello Brian. A detailed reply with options and information you need was sent to your email. Please check and let us know if you have more questions. Thanks.
Hello,
I am planning a tour of Vietnam via motorbike. I am currently in Cambodia. I hope you can recommend a company in Ho Chi Minh that could arrange a motorbike driving license for me? I would like to find a company that could obtain this license in an expedited time frame, as I do not want to stay in HCM for 2 weeks waiting on my license. Is there anyone you can recommend? Thank you!
Dear Tyler. For more details about local Vietnamese driving license please follow this link. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to have a Vietnamese license if you travel on a tourist visa. We don’t know any company who would be ready to arrange a local license because that’s lots of paperwork and headache. My guess is you need more than two weeks from the beginning. Good luck with your research.
Dear Sir,
I am looking to purchase a Honda Forza 300. As I live in Quang Ngai, I can’t find any.
Would you be able to help.
Best Regards
Alan Row
Hello Alan. The bike you are looking for is an imported model and a new one costs from 16,000$US (comes with 120% taxes). There are illegally imported used scooters from 5,000$US. However, we can’t help this time because we don’t know anyone wanting to sell this model. Good luck.
hello
We are two women and interested in a tour starting 17.2.2014 for about 10 days. After reading your page we especially like the way you write about tours for women and that it is not about how many kilometers we make per day but about what we experience. Dajana is riding bikes for years (in Europe 1300ccm) and sil used to ride a 125 enduro for some years. we like the north-tours you are describing but are open to your suggestions about what´s best for the time of year. Please let us know if it’s possible at such a short notice and what you recommend and what the costs are. We are 160 and 165cm tall and would need low bikes but please no scooters ;-)
We’re looking forward to your reply about possibilities and costs.
kind regards
sil and dajana
Hello Sil and Dajana. We have replied with all details you need to know via email. Please check and get back to us for more details. Happy New Year!
Dear sir/Madame,
I m going to be in Vietnam in mid-December. I would like to take an adventure bike tour on a Minsk bike from Lao Cai to Hanoi. What are the expenses and expected activities during traveling?
Looking forward for your reply.
Mario Demanuele.
Dear Mr. Mario Demanuele,
We are based in Hanoi and have only one office here where all rides start from. Sadly, we are not providing a ride that starts out of Hanoi. In addition, we only use Japanese Honda dirt bikes (a big no-no to Russian Minsks) due to reliability and environment friendliness. Therefore, we think you either choose to start in Hanoi and upgrade to Japanese Honda or google to find a company that offers Minsks. Good luck with your research!
