Hello, We are looking for a semi-guided scooter tour of country-side outside of Hanoi on July 10th. There are 5 of us, two adults and 3 teenagers. We were thinking we would rent 3 scooters with our 13 and 15 year olds behind on the adults scooters with our 17 year old on her own scooter. Would this work?
Dear Ben. Yes, that’s okay for us. The cost for this tour is 30$US for three scooters and 100$US for the guide + his bike. You pay everything on the road and for everyone including our guide. We require a payment made in full to book this kind of tour.
Hi Off Road Vietnam
I have a XR250T Baja electric start I cannot find a technical manual on it anywhere on my phone connected to your website its say download manual however its XR250R. can you help me please with XR250T baja? Also the carburettor and bike are imported from California and the carburettor is horrible the choke is full on or full off it screams when you start her. can I change the carb? if yes what part number can I put on it? Please bear in mind, I think my carbs has wires to the ECU for climate riding e.g. mountains and Death Valley I assume, it’s mad I know. Can you please tell me if this is right?
My very best regards Gerard
PS: I will be taking one of your tours as soon as I can get the money they look brilliant.
Unfortunately we don’t have manual for dual headlight XR250 Baja. Also none of our bike is fuel injected so you may need to look somewhere for a manual, possibly buy online?
If you have carbs on your bike then I don’t think your bike is fuel injected. Can you send us a photo of your bike and the carbs?
Hi,my partner and I are arriving in Hanoi on 13th February 2015 and would like to hire a BMW bike for two days to travel to halong bay and return. Any ideas?
Thanks.
Hello Ivan. Unfortunately you can’t find a BMW to hire in Hanoi. Bikes from 150cc are charged 120% taxes and if we can buy BMW we don’t need to do business :). In addition, from Hanoi to Halong Bay and return you ride on only boring and deadly highways. Not a good idea I am afraid.
