About Honda CRF300L Dual Enduro
Offroad Vietnam is proud to introduce the 300cc dirt bike from Honda, the Honda CRF300L.
The CRF250L was granted a displacement bump from 250cc to 286cc and a name change to CRF300L, plus several updates to the engine, suspension, and chassis. Honda’s goal with the new machine was to improve its off-road performance, retain its ease of use in everyday riding, and thereby have a viable platform for newer riders and those in the market for a user-friendly, low-cost dual sport.
In addition to a displacement bump, Honda Thailand made other changes to the engine, including a revised camshaft lift and timing, a smaller frame, a lighter exhaust system, and a new smaller air filter. Gear ratios in the six-speed transmission were updated with closer spacing in the first five gears and a taller sixth for relaxed high-speed cruising. The clutch pull is now a claimed 20 percent lighter, thanks to a new slipper/assist clutch. Shedding weight from the frame, swingarm, and lower triple clamp allowed Honda to reduce the bike’s overall weight by 5.5kg over its predecessor. However, at higher speeds, Honda CRF300L is less stable than the CRF250L.
Honda CRF300L Engine
When initially getting on the CRF300L and pulling away, you’re quickly reminded this is not a competition motorcycle. While it has more power than the CRF250L, it’s not a massive gain that you feel in the seat of your pants. What the revised engine offers is quick-revving yet predictable character that helps the bike effortlessly navigate trails.
It’s worth repeating that this clutch is a pleaser, with an incredibly light and buttery smooth pull and a distinct feel under load achieved by having a tighter tension feel at the lever.
Honda CRF300L Suspension
As dreamy as the engine is, the suspension could be improved upon. The bike’s Showa 43mm inverted fork and Showa Pro-Link shock are a bit shorter than CRF250L, are under sprung and all-around soft.
Board
The full digital dashboard is a real improvement compared to Honda CRF250L. However, on sunny days, it’s a bit hard to read.
Headlight
Equipped with LED AHO (Automatic Headlight On) with a sharp appeal and wider design for better visibility. However, on misty or rainy days it’s not very visible.
Important
– This Honda CRF300L is not really suitable for riding two up on one bike because of the footpegs, seat, and luggage added. Ideally, riding solo is the best option. If you have to ride two-up, relax often and don’t ride long every day, especially after dark or on rainy days.
– We are based in Hanoi, Northern Vietnam only. Therefore, we don’t offer bike hire outside of Hanoi or one-way rentals. Sadly, we have nobody to recommend because we don’t know their bikes or the quality of services.

Hi, we (2 Persons) arrive in Hanoi on 03th of May 2023 and wish to rent a bike (preferably Honda Winner 150 or XR300L). We want to drop the bike off on 10th May. We want to rent the bikes in Hanoi and drop them off in Hanoi as well.
Does it make a difference in the price if we drop them off at a different city?
Can you please advise on prices and availability?
Thank you so much!!
