TOUR PACKAGES BY MOTORBIKE IN VIETNAM
Offroad Vietnam Tours takes every detail seriously, considering we are in your position. With us, you have a choice from the widest range of motorcycle tour packages in Hanoi. In other words, our prices work with a very wide budget range depending on the type of bikes and tours you book. Our goal is to offer the best quality of services for your budget and show YOU a REAL VIETNAM. In addition, we put safety and bike quality on top of everything because there are many bad or old touring motorbikes in Vietnam.
Below are three different tour packages by motorbike we provide, all run by our professional staff and guides.
In case you want to know about our current prices, follow click here.
1. Fully Guided Tour Packages
For riders who just pay everything in advance, leave everything behind to us and enjoy the trip. All tours start in Hanoi but could end anywhere in Vietnam. In short, your satisfaction is guaranteed.
You simply pay all in advance and we order the best food and comfy hotels for you to stay. In reality, you experience most of Vietnam’s remote areas.
To have some ideas about our spending please check this link.
The below video shows you how our customers have more fun.
2. Semi-guided Tours (Bikes & A guide)
In short, you just ride at your own pace and pay whatever fits your budget.
In detail, you simply pay us the rental of your motorbike(s), an English-speaking tour leader, and his bike (same type as your bike). While on the road, you pay fuel for all bikes, food, and accommodation for you and our guide. In addition, you pay admission tickets, and permits (where needed). You won’t get lost in Vietnam and have maximum flexibility to choose where to eat and sleep. In the end, it’s either cheaper or more expensive than the fully guided tour above depending on your choices.
From our experience, people tend to save when they pay themselves because of the big number of Vietnamese currency. This is not the right way to have a great ride. See the link above about spending on the fully-guided Vietnamese motorbike trips of our suggested spending in order to have fresh and delicious food (not chemically frozen!) and comfortable places to stay. In other words, you get what you pay for. Naturally, people likely eat more when they are paid by us and save when they pay by themselves.
3. Unguided Adventures
In short, this will be your new adventure away from the norm, an adventure rather than a trip!
If you are on a budget and can negotiate things in a foreign/strange country by yourself, consider an independent self-guided tour from Hanoi. This is probably the cheapest way to travel on two wheels in Vietnam because you save the cost of hiring a guide. Don’t worry, we provide basic and helpful information, assistance plus tips, and advice, not just hiring the bikes.
To be honest, you don’t likely see the most beautiful areas of Vietnam. You don’t know hidden roads and have no relations with authorities or local people. In addition, you don’t speak the language and Vietnamese people normally charge foreigners more. In other words, you experience the least of Vietnam comparing to the two options above. In return, you spend the minimum budget and have total freedom.

Hello,
I wish a discovered your tour sooner but I only have a couple more days in Hanoi.
We would like to spend the day touring the country side on scooter and time at a beach to go swimming.
I am a mom with an 18yr old and 10yr old. We don’t have experience riding tho.
Would this be available?
Thank you.
Dear Nancy,
Sadly, we are fully booked this month and couldn’t offer any tour.
In addition, our customers need to ride their own bike, we don’t offer pillion (easy rider) tour by motorbike or scooters. You may do some more Google search and contact companies who offer tours for pillion passengers.
Good luck with your research.

Hello, my boyfriend and I would like to do a motorbike tour in North of Vietnam but we’re not experienced enough. Do you offer guided tours that we can be passengers with experienced drivers?
Thanks,
Sophie.
Dear Sophie. You can but the prices are more expensive because you need to pay the drivers. Based on a group of two it’s 160$US/day/person, all-inclusive, except drinks, tip and insurance. Is this what you expect to spend?
Can I get a price on a 9-day and 11-day? Would like some info what we would need.
Hi Mike. The prices depend on the number of riders and we are not able to confirm until you provide this details. However, one thing we can say is the prices will be more expensive than other tours due to the return of bikes and our guide back to Hanoi and expect to pay about 20% more than at this link. Also, note that we don’t provide one-way bike rental. You need to book a semi-guided or fully guided tour.
Hi Anh,
We are looking to do a quick tour from 27/03/15 coming back in the morning on the 30th.
Could you please let me know if you can help me ? If so, what would be the itinerary?
Many thanks
Tony
Hello Tony. You can do a 3-day trip starting from Hanoi on March 27th and returning on March 29th afternoon. You could do this 3 days at this link. We only have Honda XR250 dirt bike and the cost is 159$US/day/person or 477$US/person in 3 days. Everything, except drinks and personal medical insurance is included.
Hi there,
I am looking for a motorbike tour from Hanoi to Sa Pa around 8th or 9th of November.
How many days does it normally take (limited time) and what does it cost as I have a limited budget.
Thanks in advance!
Yours,
Günther
Dear Günther. If you do a round loop starting from Hanoi and ending in Hanoi that usually takes 5 days. Do you end the tour in Sapa and take the train back to Hanoi? That’s not good with the costs because train ride back to Hanoi for motorbikes and guide are not cheap. If you have a limited budget, please check at this link and look at group of one and decide for yourself if the prices are good for you. We use reliable bikes and professional guides and are not the cheapest. We focus on more quality and customer experience. Thanks.
Hello,
My name is Joachim, together with my colleague Melk (and possibly 2 other friends), we are looking to do a private tour for 2-4 people for 6 days preferrably, starting from either Saigon or Hanoi (but of course not traveling to the other city in that short time period). The time would be between anytime between 2 and 9 November, 2014.
Would be great to get some suggestions/ info on the following:
1)- Would it be possible to do a 6-7 day tour from Hanoi and what would be the places visited?
2)- Is there an alternative trip from Saigon for 6-7 days?
3)- Could you send us the all-in price for above tours per person including guide and accomodation/food? We are happy to do local homestay and low to medium budget.
Thank you very much for your response.
Kind regards,
Joachim
Dear Joachim. We just replied to your email address with a few options. Please check your email and get back to us if you have more questions. Thanks.
