BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR VIETNAM MOTORBIKE TOURS

When you are ready to secure your booking with Offroad Vietnam, please review our payment instructions and the list of our bank partners.

Reservation

To reserve a fully guided or semi-guided tour, please send the initial deposit at least one month prior to your departure date.
To reserve a self-guided tour (motorbike rental), please send the initial deposit as soon as you decide to hire the motorcycle(s), subject to availability.
The client is responsible for all bank-related charges, including transfer fees, currency conversion fees, and any intermediary (correspondent) bank charges.
The remaining balance is due before or on the day of departure. If you prefer not to carry a large amount of cash, you may pay the balance via bank transfer, Western Union, or online credit card payment.
Unfortunately, we do not accept travelers’ cheques or PayPal payments due to high fees and unfavorable processing conditions.

Cancellation Or Delay Of A Booking

Self-Guided Tours (Motorbike Rentals)

A fee of US$50 per booking will apply for any change or postponement of dates. This fee may be waived in cases of unforeseen circumstances such as illness, war, government-imposed travel restrictions, or similar force majeure events.
Deposits are non-refundable.
No refunds will be provided for unused rental days.
No refund will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled motorcycle collection date if the booking has been paid in full.

Booking Conditions for Fully Guided and Semi-Guided Tours

A fee of US$100 per booking will apply for any change or postponement of dates. This fee may be waived in cases of unforeseen circumstances such as illness, war, government-imposed travel restrictions, or other force majeure events.
Deposits are non-refundable.
No refund will be issued for cancellations made within 14 days of the tour departure date, or for cancellations made during or after the tour, if the tour has been paid in full.
In all cases, a non-refundable administration and preparation fee of US$100 applies.
Currency conversions will be based on the exchange rate published by Vietcombank on the date of payment or refund.
If one or more participants cancel their booking, a partial refund may be available. However, the tour price will be recalculated based on the number of remaining participants, which may result in a higher cost per person. Conversely, if additional participants join the group, the total tour cost will be recalculated and may result in a lower cost per person.

Insurance

Our tours do not include personal medical insurance, travel insurance, or motorcycle accident insurance.
Each participant is required to obtain adequate travel and medical insurance, including repatriation coverage, before joining a tour. We also ask that you provide the contact details of your insurance company and its nearest representative office to Vietnam, so that we can assist in the event of an emergency.
All participants, including pillion passengers, must have their own personal medical insurance. Insurance policies for passengers typically provide coverage for accidents and medical emergencies.
Some Australian riders have recommended insurance providers such as CHI Insurance and Allianz, noting that these companies may offer coverage for larger-capacity motorcycles without requiring a local driving licence. Alternatively, Lonely Planet has previously offered travel insurance policies for less than US$100 per person. Please note that insurance policies and coverage terms vary, and it is your responsibility to verify that your chosen policy meets your specific needs.
During our tours, participants typically ride for approximately five hours per day on average. Insurance coverage while riding depends entirely on the terms and conditions of your individual policy.

Prior to the start of the tour, each participant must sign a liability waiver confirming that they have obtained appropriate personal insurance coverage. Under no circumstances shall Offroad Vietnam be liable for medical expenses, evacuation costs, repatriation costs, or any other expenses arising from an accident, injury, illness, loss, or damage incurred during the tour.
Any costs or expenses incurred by Offroad Vietnam on behalf of a participant in an emergency situation must be reimbursed by the participant or their insurer.

Note About Booking Conditions

As a token of our appreciation, we normally do not require a deposit from returning customers. In addition, repeat guests are eligible for discounts on future tours.
We cannot guarantee weather conditions during your tour. While we will do our best to accommodate requests to postpone a tour due to adverse weather, no refund will be provided if you choose to cancel for weather-related reasons.
