Tempo of the tour and the stop-over

Good mix of time on bike and time for other activities.

Bikes and equipment

No problems – nice bike, OK power but could have better suspension. A hybrid road + dirt bike would be ideal.

Accommodation

As good as could be expected. The first two homestays were very good. The last one (in Song Thao) needs more work.

Food

Mostly good.

Guide and organisation

Good. I will send you a full critique and suggestions when I return home.

Very good value.
