Tempo of the tour and the stop-over

Generally relaxed for experienced riders. Would have liked more off road excursions – perhaps rider experience could be discussed at time of booking to allow minor route alterations to best suit the group.

Bikes and equipment

Bikes are tired – but plenty of spares and any problem fixed quickly by the guides so did not deter from the riding. Liked the older bikes as there was little worry about breaking costly equipment. XR250 is ideal for this terrain.

Accommodation

Better than had expected – the only issue was the noise of pig slaughtering and excessive mosquitos in one hotel (actually a home stay in Quang Uyen).

Food

Excellent – the menu was explained and any preferences from the rides accommodated.

Guide and organization

Guides were funny, helpful, eager to please and spent all their time on the trip catering to our needs.

The price

Excellent value – I will book a second trip!!!

Repair of breakages to the bikes was at cost with no fear of being over charged. Thank you so much – your fantastic hospitality reflects that of Vietnam as a whole – I love the place.
