Yamaha Nouvo 115cc was Yamaha Vietnam’s first automatic scooter in this body. It opened a new family of the scooter but sale decreased after rival Honda made Air Blade a few years after. In late 2016, Air Blade sale was almost 10 times of Nouvo. The design was not appealing, quality of engine and parts were substandard and Yamaha Vietnam stopped making this model in late 2016.

Yamaha Nouvo 115cc Scooter Sale, Hanoi

Made in 2005 in Vietnam. It came with a single cylinder, fully automatic, front disc brake and weights 103kg. Currently in very good conditions. Odo: ~20,000km. Only one bike left for 1,200$US with ownership rego paper. An easy bike to ride.

This scooter is the first automatic scooter Yamaha Motors Vietnam made and it opened a new product line. After the unexpected success of this model, Honda and other manufacturers started to make the similar models. Due to the quality, Yamaha Nouvo loses market share to its main competitor, the Honda Air Blade.
