(David Lees reviews of three days ride to Mai Chau and Ninh Binh on Honda 125cc trail motorcycle, ~500 km)

Our guide can’t drink as much as Englishmen, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t an absolutely fantastic guide, in fact not a guide, a mate.

Tempo of the tour and the stop-over

Good tempo with plenty of breaks for coffee and tea to warm up.

Transportation

Few problems with the motorbike but the guide was a very good mechanic and problems were fixed quickly + efficiently.

Accommodation

The homestay was fantastic – great food and comfy sleeping quarters. The Long Hotel in Ninh Binh was ok but very expensive for food, drink.

Food

All food was fantastic throughout the journey. Our guide always picked the best places.

The organization – Guide services

Great organisation, when the weather got bad, routes were changed but without spoiling the adventure. Very good organising.

The price

Great price for such great food, fantastic guide, and accommodation.
