Great trip overall!!

Tempo of the tour and the stop-over

Very good: I liked the “flexible” itinerary. The pace on bikes was perfect, enough rests. Was over too fast!!.

Transportation

The motorcycle worked well, would stall when idling, but otherwise in good mechanical shape.

Accommodation

The homestay was not quite what I expected, but enjoyable. Hotel @ Ninh Binh was disappointing (no heat, TV didn’t work) but clean & comfortable.

Food

Very good.

The organization – Guide services

Excellent (even w/out a map). Knows what’s best for the group, flexible (depending on weather), great mechanic & can hold his beer much better than “Luke” (A tour guide from another group).

The price

Probably a little expensive, but the guide was well worth the premium.
