Tempo of the tour and the stop-over

Was a little slow at first for experienced riders, but OK as we got faster each day? Stop over’s very good.

Bikes and equipment

Perfect until the last day as we needed to put the bikes on the train at Lao Cai station, but train full – wasn’t expecting the trip to cost another $50US each – maybe a little more assistance with organisation of train ticket.

Accommodation

Very good.

Food

Excellent.

Guide and organisation

Good, could have educated us a little more, we had to ask all the questions.

Price

Fine apart from the extra $50 (US) each at the end due to train problems (OV: own arrangements).
