Tempo of the tour and the stop-over

Very good, great sense of countryside and local culture.

Bikes and equipment

My 250 Baja was good – windshield for the road would be nice.

Accommodation

Acceptable for local flavor – would prefer a nicer hotel in Sapa.

Food

Not very good – edible, but I love Vietnamese food, and this was mostly a poor version of what is available.

Guide and organisation

Excellent – Ngoc is fabulous!

Fair.
