This was an incredible life experience. I would recommend it to anyone seeking a bit of adventure.

Tempo of the tour and the stop-over

Tempo perfect – allowed us to really take in all the sights.

Bikes and equipment

Honda Wave (Supra) scooter – no problems with it. A little jumpy, but reliable.

Accommodation

Two homestays were wonderful – Mai Chau especially. Other hotels were fine as well – pleasantly surprised.

Food

The food was pretty good – best at homestays. Meat sometimes a bit too exotic for my liking.

Guide and organisation

Hung was a great tour guide! Very knowledgeable about Vietnamese culture, always looked out for our well-being on the road. He was a lot of fun too!!
