2 DAYS SAPA TREK OF NORTHERN VIETNAM
2 Days Sapa Trek Of Northern Vietnam with 3 nights accommodation.
Booking code of 2 Days Sapa Trek Of Northern Vietnam: SP201
Night 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai – Night train. ~10 h.
Departure from Hanoi at 9.30 pm.
Arrival in Lao Cai at 6.10 am.
Day 1: Sapa – (Y Linh Ho) – Lao Chai – Ta Van. 5 – 6 trekking hours. 12 – 14km.
Pick you up at Lao Cai station. Then arrive in Sapa at around 10am by bus. In fact, the Sunday market is now not so much as beautiful as it used to be. Therefore, half an hour at this market should be enough.
There are two options for this route:
– Trek 3 km on a sealed road. Down to Y Linh Ho on a small trail.
– Or trek for 6 km until the village of Lao Chai.
In reality, the first option is better with real track and people more friendly. Then we have a picnic lunch on road or in a family. Our guide will arrange at his best convenience. Mineral water is available in the village for a reasonable price, so there is no need to carry it all the way from Hanoi or Sapa. Then trek to Ta Van and stay overnight here. We plan to arrive around 6 pm. At Ta Van, there are many host houses. Mr. Muc’s big house, right in the centre of the village is an ideal place. Another house is at Mr. Binh, near the stream, a good location, nice people, and very close to nature.
Day 2: Ta Van – Ban Ho – Sapa. 15 km. 7 hours trek. End of 2 Days Sapa Trek Of Northern Vietnam.
After breakfast at the host house in Ta Van, we leave at 9am toward Giang Ta Chai or Red Dao village of merely 100 people. Then enjoy a picnic lunch near a stream.
After lunch, continue to Ban Ho and arrive around 4 pm.
Here we have two options: stay overnight in Ban Ho or drive back to Sapa in a jeep or motorbike taxi (xe om). If we stay in Ban Ho, Mr. Minh’s house offers a panoramic view of the valley between the two rivers. In addition, the host is really nice and friendly.
