Day 1: Hanoi – Vu Linh. ~180 km, ~7 h.

Today is the first day of this short 5 days NorthCentre motorbike tour. Before starting to ride, we will have a short briefing to let you know about the rules. In addition, the guide will show you how to understand him by his body language. We start around 9.30am after the rush hours.

Easy drive to on the sealed road to Thac Ba Lake and then follow the little road to Vu Linh. Vu Linh is a Dzao village by the side of the lake with very friendly people. In addition, the welcome is exceptional.

Day 2: Vu Linh – Luc Yen – Bac Ha. ~80 km, ~3 h.

In general, you ride on a nice road along the lake until Luc Yen. In fact, Luc Yen is a small city famous for its ruby. Accommodation at the guest-house or at the Dzao village.

Day 3: Luc Yen – Xin Man. ~120 km, ~4 h.

Today you mainly ride on secondary roads. In reality, we ride up until the Chinese border. This area is mainly populated by Flower H’mong.

A superb hotel of nowhere awaits us in Xin Man. Well deserved rest.

Day 4: Xin Man – Bac Ha. ~60 km, ~3 h.

This is, in fact, a quiet cruising next to the Chinese border. The short stage offers us time to enjoy this amazing scenery.

Night in hotel.

Day 5: Bac Ha – Lao Cai – Hanoi. ~150 km, ~6 h. End of Short 5 Days NorthCentre Motorbike Tour.

We visit the surrounding of Bac Ha riding our bikes or walking. You will meet many hill tribes. After lunch, we go down to Lao Cai (34 km) and take a train to come back to Hanoi.

Train leaves around 9pm. However, we must be at the station two hours before to guarantee a firm bike loading. In fact, there is limited space for motorbikes on this night train from Lao Cai to Hanoi.
