NORTH CENTRE 4 DAYS HOMESTAYING BY BIKE IN VIETNAM
4 days, 4 nights – North Centre 4 days homestaying by bike.

Day 1: Hanoi – Vu Linh. ~180 km, ~7 h.
Today is the first day of this North Centre 4 days homestaying by bike. Before starting to ride, we will have a short briefing to let you know about the rules. In addition, the guide will show you how to understand him by his body language. We start around 9.30am after the rush hours.
Easy drive to on the sealed road to Thac Ba Lake and then follow the little road to Vu Linh. Vu Linh is a Dao village by the side of the lake, very friendly people and the welcome is exceptional.
Day 2: Vu Linh – Luc Yen. ~80 km, ~2 h.
We spend the whole morning to take a boat cruise across the beautiful Thac Ba lake. Then after lunch, ride to Luc Yen in about 2 hours around the lake on a small road lined with palm trees and scenic mountain views. Finally, another homestay with a friend’s host family.
Day 3: Luc Yen – Bac Ha. ~150 km, ~4 h.
Ride from Luc Yen to Bac Ha in about 4 hours by heading up the mountain range following the Chay River. In Bac Ha, we could have two options with either a homestay or hotel depending on how much you enjoy the last two homestays.
Day 4: Bac Ha – Sapa – Lao Cai. ~120 km, ~4 h. End of North Centre 4 Days Homestaying.
Descend to Lao Cai and then head up another mountain range that takes us to Sapa. In reality, Sapa and Bac Ha are now quite touristy. However, we can trek to Ta Van village where is dominated by Giay people. We pass Lao Chai village on the way and lunch could be in Lao Chai, Ta Van, or wherever we want. The children will go together with you along the way. Come back to Sapa and ride down to Lao Cai for the train at 7 pm. Arrive in Hanoi 4.30 am the next day.
