Day 1: Hanoi – Nghia Lo. ~180 km, ~7 h.

Today is the first day of this 4 days Hoang Lien range motorbike tour. Before starting to ride, we will have a short briefing to let you know about the rules. In addition, the guide will show you how to understand him by his body language. We start around 9.30am after the rush hour.

This is, in fact, an easy ride on sealed roads. You ride through rural areas with a beautiful rice field along the road. In general, it is a nice and quiet cruising.

Night in a hotel.

Day 2: Nghia Lo – Than Uyen. ~140 km, ~6 h.

In general, this portion is a wild and bumpy road. We go through the Mu Cang Chai massif, almost as high as the Fansipan. From the top, we have one of the most beautiful views of North Vietnam. Once in Than Uyen, we can go around visiting villages surrounding.

Night in Hotel.

Day 3: Than Uyen – Sapa. ~140 km, ~5 h.

Walk/ stroll in the morning. The area of Than Uyen is mainly populated by Flower H’mong and Dzao people. Then direction Sapa. Easy track for 100 km and asphalted mountainous road for the last 40 km. We head up the Hoang Lien range with Fansipan is the summit and also the roof of Indochina. This is one of the best sections of the trip riding on the high mountain road.

We can stay in Sapa or if we feel going further and the weather is nice, we can keep riding until Muong Hum where we stay with Giay people. 40 km of dirt road. Beautiful riding.

Day 4: Sapa – Lao Cai – Hanoi. ~35 km, ~5 h + ~10 h on the train. End of 4 Days Hoang Lien Range Motorbike Tour.

We visit the surrounding of Sapa riding our bikes or walking. Amazing scenery, lots of hill tribes. After lunch, we go down to Lao Cai (34 km) and take a train to come back to Hanoi.
