Day 1: Hanoi – Hai Phong – Cat Ba. ~120 km, ~3½ h.

6h: Take a Hoang Long bus to Cat Ba. Arrive in Cat Ba at 11.30 am. Then have lunch at the hotel. 14h: Walk around Cat Ba town along the coast, market and the surrounding area (or drive around) or trek in the National Park. Take sampan to a floating restaurant in the little bay to enjoy seafood dinner. Sleep in the hotel.

Day 2: Cat Ba – Hanoi. ~120 km, ~3½ h. End of Excellent Lan Ha & Cat Ba 2 Days Cruise.

Breakfast at the hotel. Then we do short boating in Cat Ba Bay to Lan Ha Bay. Have a shower and lunch in the hotel before taking the ferry back to Hanoi. The ferry leaves around 1.30 pm. Once in Hai Phong around 4 pm, we go by taxi from Binh boat station to the bus station. Then take the bus to Hanoi. Finally, you arrive in Hanoi around 6 pm.
