Tempo of the tour and the stop-over

Tempo was good riding 150 to 180 km per day can be a little tiring but it can be done. Good breaks and the scenery is amazing.

Bikes and equipment

XR Baja 250 suspension needed to be tuned up. Not good in the turns. Chain tension or swing-arm adjustment.

Accommodation

All very good – very nice homestays. Hot water is good to have at night to take showers. Some homestays did not have it. Also, Western-style toilets nice.

Food

Homestay food was great. Sometimes lunch stops were a little scary but the food was good mostly!!

Guide and organisation

The guide was fantastic. Great guide and a good friend.

Good value.
