Tempo of the tour and the stop-over

We thought everything was perfect. The guides never made the ride too long or too short between stops.

Bikes and equipment

Headlight did not work on one bike and foot pegs came loose on another bike. Making both issues a safety hazard, especially the ride at night with no headlight other than those two issues, everything worked well.

Accommodation

There was a perfect mix of homestay & hotel. We felt that we were able to see how the Vietnamese lived with the homestays. This made the trip even better.

Food

The food was excellent after getting used to the variety of foods people like to eat here.

Guide and organisation

Thoi + Luan were outstanding without them the tour wouldn’t be half as good as it was. They were knowledgeable, fun, and pleasant. They took care of everyone’s wants and needs. Both of them are unbelievably great guys! I have nothing but great things to say about Offroad Vietnam from start to finish!

The price

The price was fair, the value was good. The tip jar on the Halong Bay boat was a little excessive.
