Tan Trao is a historical area. In this place, the provisional revolutionary government and the General Committee of the Viet Minh led by President Ho Chi Minh and establish the base security resistance army zone during the French colonialists in Indochina. From here they came to Hanoi to make the August Revolution 1945. In fact, it became the Capital during Nine-Year Resistance War (from 1945 to 1954). Until the Genève convention signed after the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield, the Viet Minh Government returned to Hanoi in Oct 1950.
However, this destination is only popular among Vietnamese tourists. It’s hard to say Tan Trao is a good attraction and we in fact never stop here.
